SGMA founder Sandra Goroff served as a director of publicity at Houghton Mifflin Company’s Trade and Reference Division in Boston for 12 years. During her tenure at Houghton Mifflin, Advertising Age chose her as one of the top marketers of the year. While at Houghton Mifflin Goroff also received Northwestern University’s (Medill School of Journalism) National Integrated Marketing “Out of the Box” Award, a Mercury Award, and numerous Bell Ringer Awards in the categories of product publicity, press kit design, and marketing communications from the Publicity Club of New England.
